Senior R&D QA Associate at RB

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining an appropriate Health R&D; Quality Management System with the regional R&D; Hubs. The role will provide support to the R&D; teams to ensure that the QMS encompasses the entire life cycle from innovation to product launch.
 

You will help shape and maintain a system that meets both regulatory and corporate standards, whilst supporting the development of leading healthcare brands. You will work closely with the R&D; teams on key projects ensuring quality and risk management support is given.
 

As an integral member of an experienced and dynamic R&D; team, you will be required to implement, review and respond to global R&D; KPIs and trends to ensure proactive management of the global R&D; QMS. You will provide support via review and approval of product and equipment validation approvals and supports the R&D; Operations teams by providing Quality and Risk Management support

• Intimate understanding of the product life cycle including R&D;, Manufacturing and Distribution. Broad knowledge of regulatory requirements at an international level.
• Quality management system design and implementation experience including OTC/Monograph drug, Medical Device and Cosmetics
• Degree in a relevant scientific discipline e.g. Pharmacy, Biology or Chemistry
• At least 5- 7 years' experience in Quality Assurance and R&D; in a Pharmaceutical or FMCG company with supervisory/ managerial experience.
• Must be a RSA citizen.
