Senior Software Project Manager (Finance Analytics & Automation) at IQVIA

• We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Project Manager who will also serve as the Team Leader for our Project Managers. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our financial automation initiatives and managing our portfolio of internal clients mainly.
• You will work fully on remote in an international environment, ensuring consistency and excellence in high value projects by connecting milestones from end to end.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English required.
• 5-7 years of experience as Project Management required, specially related to Automation Projects, Technology, Software Development, desirable in Finance area.
• Familiar with Finance process (e-invoicing, accounts payable, consolidation, planning, etc.) and finance tools and software (SAP, PeopleSoft).
• Familiar with automation technologies (RPA, Python, Alteryx, Power Bi, etc.)
• Experience in people management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a changing environment.
• Knowledge in Agile/Lean/Waterfall methodologies is valued.
• Adaptability to handle dynamic project environments and problem-solving mindset.
• Corporate background is an advantage.

Key responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of 2 Junior Project Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members.
• Ensure effective resource allocation and workload management within the team.
• Work with limited guidance, demonstrating the ability to make informed decisions and take initiative.

Project Management:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of financial automation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within estimations.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resources allocation.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitor and bring consistency to the most complex and high-value projects by understanding business needs, setting key milestones, planning and coordinating resources, managing stakeholders, and serving as a liaison between Business and Automation/Analytics.
• Work with limited guidance, demonstrating the ability to make informed decisions based on facts and take initiative.

Client Relationship Management

• Structure and manage the relationship and portfolio of internal and external clients.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
• Work with limited guidance, demonstrating the ability to make informed decisions and take initiative.

Process Improvement:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and methodologies.
• Implement best practices and standards for project management within the team.

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the strategic vision for financial automation.
• Contribute to the development of long-term goals and objectives for the Global Finance Automation and Analytics team.
