Serves as a capable professional in an architectural design team, leading digital work on specific elements of a project with minimal direction and supervision of a Senior Architect or designated senior team members.
Able to proactively identify opportunities to support the discipline area's overall growth locally as part of the Enterprise Capabilities offering.
Performing basic architectural calculations.
Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.
Maintaining liaison with design and modeling groups.
Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.
May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
Qualifications
Qualification: B Tech in Architectural Technology minimum/BArch (Hons)/BAS (Hons)
Registered with SACAP as a Professional Senior Architectural Technologist
Years of Experience: 8+
Preferred Software: AutoCAD; Revit; Rendering software, i.e., Enscape/Lumion/Twinmotion; Microsoft Office programs, e.g. Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
Additional software which will be beneficial: BIM360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud; Adobe software such as PhotoShop
