Senior Technologist - Architecture at AECOM

Job Description

• Serves as a capable professional in an architectural design team, leading digital work on specific elements of a project with minimal direction and supervision of a Senior Architect or designated senior team members. 
• Able to proactively identify opportunities to support the discipline area's overall growth locally as part of the Enterprise Capabilities offering.
• Performing basic architectural calculations.
• Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.
• Maintaining liaison with design and modeling groups.
• Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
• Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.
• May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
• May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.

Qualifications

• Qualification: B Tech in Architectural Technology minimum/BArch (Hons)/BAS (Hons)
• Registered with SACAP as a Professional Senior Architectural Technologist
• Years of Experience: 8+
• Preferred Software: AutoCAD; Revit; Rendering software, i.e., Enscape/Lumion/Twinmotion; Microsoft Office programs, e.g. Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
• Additional software which will be beneficial: BIM360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud; Adobe software such as PhotoShop
