This role is accountable for systems testing on newly developed systems. as well as operating as a test analyst. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts, over periods of up to 3 months.

KRA's
Process Design & Implementation

• Document and facilitate the implementation of new / enhanced processes.

Quality Assurance

• Ensures that agreed testing standards are adhered to.
• Responsible for fault analysis and management.

System Testing

• Accountable for systems testing on newly developed sytems.
• Logs faults and reviews fault logs. Reviews test cases and make recommendations on optimising them.
• Tracks faults and prepare metrics on faults. Develops and refines test cases and test procedures.
• Creates master test plans.
• Setting up Test cases.
• Ensures proper test prioritisation according to risk-based techniques.

Job Requirements
Technical Qualifications

• Matric
• A business or IT-related qualification and work experience will be advantageous
• Previous Functional Testing experience essential
• Previous experience of setting up Test cases is essential
• Knowledge of the NGP AND OM Protect is essential
• OMP and NGP Existing and/or New Business process working knowledge essential

System proficiency/Computer Literacy

• Working knowledge of NGP product systems i.e. OMEGA 3, BPM, Bizargi, MY Series,Money Collection (YM), and GCS
• Working knowledge of OMP systems i.e.BaNCS, OMP Front Ends ,CMOS and Bizargi is essential
• Computer literacy essential specifically Excel, Word and Outlook

Special conditions of Employment

• You must be willing to work some weekends (implementation date) and Thursday night slots (enhancements)
