Senior Transport Engineer - Centurion at EarthStream

Our client who is a large international engineering consulting firm, are currently looking to add a Senior Transport Engineer (PrEng) to their team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design cutting-edge road and highway projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
• Conduct thorough site evaluations, analyze data, and recommend optimized solutions for road improvement and maintenance projects.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including urban planners, environmental experts, and construction personnel.
• Utilize the latest technology and software to create innovative road designs that prioritize safety and sustainability.
• Oversee construction projects, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professionally registered Engineer with ECSA
• 5 years proven experience in road and highway design, construction, and maintenance.
• Intermediate proficiency in industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of local regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for working in a team-oriented environment.
