Sherq Co-ordinator at Bidvest International Logistics

Job Purpose    

• Bidvest International Logistics is seeking to employ a SHERQ Coordinator who will be responsible to attend to all facility SHERQ requirements, managing onsite security, driving 5S' and 3P's. The successful incumbent will also be required to conducting weekly job observations and ensuring all work instructions are correct, booking of all training as required by Facility staff and ensuring that staff are trained as per the SHE structure requirements and budgeted training plan, maintaining a maintenance plan for all equipment and ensuring that maintenance is carried out as planned and that all equipment is compliant.

Qualifications & Experience    
Qualifications

• Matric
• Tertiary education related to health & safety beneficial
• SAMTRAC

Experience

• 5 years experience working with a SHERQ role
• Warehousing experience beneficial
• Experience working on MS Word / MS Excel

Key Responsibilities    

• Ensuring the facility complies with all legal and BIL Health & Safety requirements
• Ensuring the facility maintains all aspects of ISO requirements
• Preparation for / involvement in audits
• Managing onsite security - guards and systems
• Attending to all accidents / incidents and claims
• Driving 5S' and 3P's
