Process / Operation, Start Up / Shutdown Procedure and Oversees the safe and efficient start-up and shutdown of the factory
Material Availability: Ensures the upstream Batch System (Storage tanks etc.) is set-up with correct ingredients and quantity to meet the production plan
Operation: Ensures that machinery and equipment in area of responsibility is operated, maintained and changed over efficiently as per SOP
Engineering: Drives development of operators to perform autonomous maintenance and inspection tasks equipment as per schedule including minor maintenance (i.e. replacing belts, chains, hoses, covers, knives etc

Experiences & Qualifications
Completed National Diploma Engineering OR Operations Management OR equivalent
3 years relevant Management/ Supervisor experience in FMCG/ Manufacturing environment
Solid leadership, management and development experience of large teams
Working knowledge of WCM principles (AM and Problem Solving Skills)
Working knowledge of OHS act and lockout procedures
Working Knowledge of PC Skills and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, CRQS, SAP, QM, RS Batch, SCADA etc
