Job Summary:

Responsible for the day to day monitoring and operation of the organisation’s systems under the control of ABSA’s Command centre; including incident handling, availability and performance monitoring, conduct problem resolution and administration within the IT Command Centre according to company procedures and standards.

Education and Experience Required

• National Diploma / Higher Certificate (ITIL Service Management) (NQF level no. 5)
• 5 years technical experience in an IT command centre
• Knowledge & Skills: (Maximum of 6)
• This role is for Application support and maintenance of applications within Barclays Africa’s Corporate Investment Bank and Wealth Management, middleware adapters and market exchange interfaces. To focus on the Application Management (RTB Run-The-Bank) activities.
• Responsible for delivery excellence of within projects while ensuring stable BAU of Front Arena and Trade Management operations, liaise and negotiate with internal customers and technology vendors.
