RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established building contractor is seeking a strong and experienced Site Agent to join their team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of new-build residential developments and must have a proven track record managing residential construction projects from start to completion.
Requirements:
10+ years’ construction experience, with a strong track record in site management.
Proven experience as a Site Agent on new-build residential projects is essential.
Relevant National Diploma, BTech or degree in Construction Management, Building Science or Civil Engineering.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building processes and site management.
Experience managing subcontractors, labour, materials and plant.
Strong programme and progress monitoring skills.
Good understanding of QA/QC, health & safety and snag management.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and documentation.
Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Must be highly organised, hands-on and able to take full responsibility for site delivery.
