Job Summary

• Enable Absa to deliver on the Skills Development element of the B-BBEE scorecard by providing operational support, big data analysis, management Information and reporting.

Job Description

Critical elements of the role: non-negotiables

• Big data analysis with in-depth knowledge of working with data from multiple source systems.
• Excellent analytical, logical, and methodical capability including reporting on analysis and trends
• Effective communicator at all levels within the organization
• Report test to ensure data integrity and user acceptance testing
• Provide input to source data quality assurance and quality Control
• Connecting the business requirements with the business Intelligence solution
• Business assistance during implementation and providing input for system integration in line with data transportation, monthly monitoring to ensure accurate reporting at all times
• Provide input for user training
• Facilitate the implementation of new / enhanced processes to increase system efficiency and user experience
• Facilitate the resolution of data and/or system integrity issues
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement a seamless transportation of data from all source systems i.e., Workday/SAP and/or Cornerstone/Power BI

Added advantage:

• In-depth knowledge and experience in BBBEE Skills Development reporting i.e. preference is reporting within the Financial Sector, but would consider reporting in any other sector as long as it’s for BBBEE Skills

Development reporting

• Sound knowledge of the BBBEE legislation
• Experience in preparing reporting for the following:
• Scorecard reporting (FSC preferential, however would still consider Generic)
• ESG reporting
• Department of Labour reporting
• Integrated reporting
• Tax Rebates for learnerships and internships
• Other adhoc reporting based on business needs

• BSC Science / Informatics
