Snr Electrical Technician at Enaex Africa

ABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

• To provide technical expertise to a team of Technicians. Be accountable for development and implementation of sound asset maintenance strategies. To manage renewal and replacement strategies for all electrical equipment’s. Ensure the integrity of Electrical equipment, project support and plant support.

Key accountabilities

Core Elements of Job Key Performance Indicators

•  Manage MOC system for Electrical
•  Coach and train Trainee Technicians.
•  Do acting as Maintenance Manager
•  Manage investigation for all failures.
•  Develop a system to evaluate maintainability of all newly installed equipment’s.
•  Liaise with other disciplines to optimize performance of electrical equipment.
•  Knowledge\faultfinding of Electrical Systems
•  Manage maintenance strategies for Electrical
•  Manage 5-year renewal plans for Electrical
•  Provide training on Electrical specific equipment and systems
•  Standardization of Electrical processes and procedures
•  QA\QC procedures to improve asset reliability at Electrical
•  Manage Non-Conformances
•  Establish and revise asset management standards
•  Interface with engineering and reliability groups
•  Management of projects
•  In-depth knowledge of hazardous areas

Minimum Qualifications and Experience required

• B-Tech: Electrical Engineering
• Must have a minimum of 5 years relevant electrical experience.
