    Black Pen is an energetic and fast-paced global recruitment and immigration company, based in Cape Town. Our recruitment focus is in FinTech, cryptocurrency, MetaVerse and more. We are looking for a self-driven and passionate Social Media Manager/Content Writer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town, South Africa.  In this role you will be responsible for helping Black Pen in developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing our social media marketing campaigns across all digital channels.

    Job type: Office-Based | Full-Time

    Requirements

    Requirements:  

    You should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

    • 2-3 years of work experience as a Social Media Specialist, Content Writer, Community Manager or similar position

    • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field

    • Experience planning and leading community initiatives

    • Hands on experience with social media management

    • Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs

    • Experience using Zoho CRM a plus

    • Experience using Canva a plus

    • Excellent verbal communication skills

    • Excellent writing skills

    • Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills

    • Ability to interpret website traffic

    • Knowledge of online marketing 

    • Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies

    • Create engaging job descriptions

    • Create summary graphics for new jobs to be posted on social media

    • Respond to candidates in a timely manner

    • Define most important social media KPIs

    • Measure the success of every social media campaign

    • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies

    • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization

    • Monitor, track and report on feedback and online reviews

    • Organize and manage events to boost brand awareness

    • Coordinate with recruitment and immigration teams
