Requirements

• Grade 12 with Tertiary qualification in Social Work and Current registration with SACSSP
• At least 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role involving case management and administration
• Knowledge of HIV/AIDS
• Experience in working with adolescents in Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and related issues
• Experience in referral systems
• Containment counselling, debriefing and psychoeducation skills
• Computer literacy and intermediate ability to use MS Office
• Code 08 Drivers License
• Fluent in English and isiXhosa
• Preferably be a female applicant
• Report writing skills
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail orientated and skilled time management
• Able to work later hours including weekends if necessary

Responsibilities:

• Contain and counsel
• Manage referral system and follow ups including completion of all relevant forms
• Coordinate and facilitate psychoeducation with participants (specifically problem-solving methodology and skills)
• Coordinate and facilitate containment and problem-solving counselling with clients
• Coordinate and facilitate debriefing for staff working with clients
• Case management and coordination
• Reporting
• Develop & maintain resource catalogue
• Maintain confidential client and participant records
