About the Role

• We are partnering with a leading financial technology company that has developed an innovative investment administration system, perfected over 18 years. This platform is designed for efficiency, customization, and agility, catering to small and medium-sized businesses in the financial industry, including Unit Trust Managers, Linked Investment Service Providers (LISPs), Pension Fund Administrators, and Life Companies specializing in investment product administration.
• We are looking for an experienced Software Tester to join their team on a full-time, remote basis. As a Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and performance of their investment administration system by creating and executing test cases, ensuring software functionality, and upholding high standards of quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough software testing to identify and resolve issues before product release.
• Develop, document, and execute test cases to ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and test objectives.
• Contribute to quality assurance efforts, ensuring that all products meet industry standards for performance, reliability, and security.
• Utilize testing tools and methodologies to perform effective test execution.
• Document and report defects, tracking them through to resolution.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in test execution, test case creation, and software testing.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Solid understanding of quality assurance principles and best practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in testing tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge and experience with investment products, including Unit Trusts, Retirement Annuities, Umbrella Funds, Linked Investments, Structured Products, ETFs, and Money Markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
