Candidate must be able to assist our large sales force based mainly in Gauteng and Western cape.
Candidate must be able to handle the sales process from introduction to new and existing customers all the way through to closing the deal. Including detailed design and financial costing.
A proven track record is crucial.
Experience on the technical side, designing solar PV systems
Someone who can walk with the sales team, make sure what is being sold, is designed and built properly
Must be able to give quotations properly
Provide support / up selling to sales teams
High level and Detailed designs of solar plants
Client needs assessment; • Tariff Analysis, • Yield simulations (PVSyst), • Shading analysis (PVSyst), • Site layout and Single line drawings, • Site assessment, • Financial feasibility for solar plants, • Writing, editing and formatting of technical and commercial proposal documents, • Compilation of Tender documentation, • Pricing of bids; • Client Liaison;
Networking with suppliers, including pricing negotiations, keeping abreast with stock availability, and sourcing new and alternative suppliers and technologies. • Interaction with local authorities and utility providers, applications for regulatory approvals and generation licences.
Minimum requirements for the role:
BTech Degree / HND in a Technical / Electrical discipline is a minimum
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the solar industry (in a similar role).
Time management skills;
Good basic electrical and technical understanding;
