Sourcing Analyst at Essity

What You Will Do

• Responsible for ensuring a continuous improvement approach and to provide training in developing/maintaining all Essity Sourcing/systems and tools
• Drive change management within the organization to facilitate the integration of enhanced digital platforms, tools & systems, and ensure effective communication of all developments.
• Leads and supports projects and initiatives to reduce complexity and promote standardization of systems, tools and processes, through close collaboration with the Sourcing Excellence team
• Data analysis to support market insights, vendor performance improvement, tender activities, process/system improvements and strategy development
• Support our category strategy by analysing spend trends across different categories and setting up dashboards to capture impact of these spend trends on our brands
• Supports development of templates (Tenders & contracts) working closely with Sourcing Excellence and sourcing teams
• Preparation of project driven value creation calendar working closely with sourcing teams to ensure effective midterm and long term planning.
• Participation in Operational Sourcing leadership team meetings, updating teams on key activities, potential synergies and best practice sharing
• Regular reviews with site controlling and sourcing teams to ensure all sourcing savings projects are delivering in accordance with agreed targets and budget
• Engage with operational sourcing colleagues to gather business requirements to build, test, deploy and maintain power BI based reporting and data models
• Manages the interests of Essity in a professional and ethical manner throughout all interactions with vendors, stakeholders and colleagues

Who You Are

• Significant sourcing/analyst experience with demonstrated procurement competencies and track record of achievements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related Professional Sourcing Qualification (eg CIPS, NEVI etc)
• Proven financial acumen and strong analytical skills (Advanced Excel skills & Business Intelligence skills)
• Ideally experienced in lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement processes
• Project Management experience advantageous
• Interested in Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence
• Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Verbal), English and local language
• Initial experience of Power BI. In particular good knowledge of data visualization, data modelling and ability to build dashboards using power BI.
• Ideally experienced in using SAP, and/or SAP ARIBA
• Strong Microsoft office knowledge
• To be a team player, who can not only work in a collaborative & global team environment but also work independently and be a self-starter.
