NetFlorist, an international online flower and gifting service, is a company that is forever growing and has endless opportunities. We are seeking an independent SQL developer with the necessary qualification and skills to join our team. We’re looking for a self-driven individual who is willing to go above and beyond. The position is full time and is based in Waterfall, Gauteng.

 

Duties Include, But Not Limited To:

· Integration of new sources of data into company databases so that it can also be analysed and included in relevant processes and reports

· Integration of data into relevant workflow processes, with the specific aim of continuously improvement and data optimization

· Work with all levels of development from analysis through implementation and support

· Develop and test issues aligned to specifications

· Work with the project team across functional areas

· Continually searching for new and useful ways to obtain, integrate and analyze data that is relevant to the company’s business model

· Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality

· Performing root cause analysis on data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement

 

Requirements:

· Matric with 3 years relevant work experience or Undergraduate degree with majors in Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or similar.

· 3-5 Years’ experience with relational databases, writing T-SQL queries, stored procedures and functions (candidate must be willing to support legacy SQL server systems in a business-critical context)

· Data visualization and reporting experience

· Conceptualizing new solutions based on business requirements

· Must have C# or C# MVC knowledge and experience

· Email sending platform (preferably Everlytic) experience

· Java-script knowledge beneficial

· Classic ASP or ASP.net knowledge beneficial

· Knowledge and experience working with Webservices and API’s beneficial
