The Role:

Valenture is growing rapidly, as such we are recruiting teachers for all the following subjects: English (First Language), Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, History, and Business Studies. Senior Teachers are needed for some subjects and Facilitators (Junior Teachers) for others. Any applicants contracted with Valenture will need to start their new position as soon as possible. Applicants do not have to be based in Cape Town.

Requirements

Minimum prerequisites for Senior teachers are:

1. Bachelor's degree,
2. PGCE, B.Ed or other accepted teaching qualification,
3. 5 years’ teaching experience at high school level, and
4. SACE registration, police clearance and good references
5. Candidates with Cambridge / Edexcel curriculum experience will be preferred

Minimum prerequisites for Facilitators are:

1. Bachelor's degree, PGCE, B.Ed or other accepted teaching qualification, and
2. SACE registration, police clearance and good references

Applicants with any or all of the following experience will have an advantage:

1. Teaching GCSE and A Levels (in the UK or internationally),
2. Teaching in an online environment, and
3. Developing subject resources (e.g. writing chapters for textbooks)
