Qualification

• Grade 12
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics is preferred

Experience

• 5 years in a similar role within a warehouse environment
• Knowledge of Warehouse management system

Key Responsibilities

Planning Stock Management

• Stock management and controls witin the Supply Chain facility to ensure an efficient and effective operation.
• Inventory Management:  Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock is available to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory.
• Ensure movement of stock is executed and documented as per warehouse management system.

Stock audit

• Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations tp ensure accuracy in inventory records
• Handle stock takes, stock checks, stock counts and inspection
• Report stock variances to your superior noticed in the warehouse
• Ensureing that all stock records/systems are up to date and balancing to the physical.  
• Conduct random checks and ensuring that reconciliations of theoretical to physical count are done at lease once per month
• Ensure that stocklists are correctly updated and documented.
• All stock takes . stock counts to be completed within the required timelines.

Reporting

• Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and any issues that need addressing.
• Provide daily updates to management - as well the required action taken with regards to inventory accuracy.

General

• Working closely with the admin and warehouse teams to coordinate inventory management
• Check/audit picking instructions prior to invoicing to ensure that the correct stock is dispatched.
• Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
• Analyse inventory data to identify trends, forecast future inventory needs and made informed decisions.
• Returns management - capture returned stock and maintain the correct flow of documentation.
• Ensure racking, bins is maintained at all times.
