• Manage the full lifecycle of projects—Capital investments, Technology Transfers, Integration, and IT—ensuring alignment with business strategy, compliance, and long-term value creation.

Skills Required

Background/experience

• BSc in Engineering / BPharm
• 10+ years’ experience in Tech Transfer or program management within Pharma/ Biotech 
• Proven track record managing large- scale tech transfer
• Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory frameworks
• Experience in multi-site and multi-country integration programs advantageous

Responsibilities

Project Management

• Define and maintain project plans (milestones, budgetary baselines, resources, and risks)
• Establish governance processes and reporting frameworks across portfolios
• Monitor and control project execution to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Implement risk management frameworks and mitigation strategies
• Ensure regulatory and GMP-compliance in all project deliverables
• Oversee stakeholder communication and manage project handovers

Organisation Strategy, Vision & Values

• Translate corporate strategy into executable project roadmaps
• Support integration of newly acquired entities into Aspen’s systems and culture
• Identify, align, and deliver synergies from integration and transformation programs

Planning of Policy, Development of Systems and Processes

• Establish and standardize PMO frameworks, tools, and methodologies
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Supply Chain, QA/QC, Production, and IT
• Facilitate portfolio prioritisation and resource allocation with executive leadership

Accountability ad Decision Rights

• Approve and manage CAPEX budgets, financial forecasts, and resource planning
• Provide project status and portfolio updates to Exco and Site Leadership
• Challenge assumptions, validate business cases, and approve prioritisation decisions
• Accountable for ensuring integration, tech transfer, and IT projects achieve intended value
• Empower project teams while maintaining strategic oversight

Problem Solving

• Anticipate risks, dependencies, and regulatory challenges across capital, tech transfer, and IT projects
• Balance competing demands of compliance, cost efficiency, and delivery timelines
• Navigate complex technical, regulatory, and business issues
• Drive change management and adoption of new systems and processes
