Structural Designer at Hatch

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Be responsible for development of structural 3D models and 2D deliverables in accordance with project and Hatch standards
• Assisting with resolving structural technical issues and provides guidance to other designers as well as supervising and coordinating structural design tasks

Further responsibilites include:

• Layout of complex plant and structural systems using 3D modelling design tools
• Producing 2D drawings from the 3D model
• Ensuring 2D deliverables are checked to comply with Hatch quality standards
• Performing design for structural models using project specifications and procedures and applying industry best practice
• Using vendor drawings and information to develop and check the model, facilitate formal structural design reviews, production of general arrangement drawings from the 3D model inclusive of annotation.

 You bring to the role:

• 10+ years experience in structural design experience
• Superb modelling skills in a 3D environment
• Advanced diploma of engineering or equivalent (Civil preferred).
• Preferred knowledge of Bentley 3D design software tools, copper concentration or flotation experience.
• Sound knowledge of the applicable codes and standards.
