EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING
- Care Worker certificate
- 2 years or more clinical experience
KEY DUTIES
- Provide assistance, support and motivation to the patients during their therapeutic journey.
- Support the nursing staff to ensure that the patients receive optimal care in a safe environment.
- Be able to assist the professional staff by performing various care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patients.
- Have knowledge of the Patient Rights Charter.
- Basic knowledge of CPR.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Respect, patience and empathy.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written. Must be able to write clinical notes on behaviour observed.
- Service commitment which maintains a person-centered mind set.
