Reporting on the server environment i.e. usage reports
Manage shares and security in the server environment
Administration of Active Directory/Exchange where needed
Install and support operating system software patches
Install and support windows desktop packages including anti-virus and mail.
Provide technical support to internal customers, assisting them with hardware and application problems by phone, email, and face to face. To escalate complex queries to the relevant team member or external support provider for resolution when necessary.
To deal with requests for user support from the helpdesk and ensure an efficient, customer-focused response is provided and a high quality of customer service is maintained.
To ensure that support calls are logged on the helpdesk system and resolved within SLA.
To be responsible for communicating effectively with third party suppliers to resolve issues and improve SLAs. Logging third line support calls, chasing when needed and acting as the point of escalation.
Provide support on in-house developed packages
Provide support on printing problems
Assist where applicable with the definition and maintenance of standards
Prepare and maintain installation guides
Support, setup and installation of Android devices and other mobility devices
Assist with the 3CX phones and setup where needed
Do network related tests i.e. network points, fly heads.
Manage shares and security in the desktop environment
