    Systems Administrator - EMEA Onsite Support

    About the job

    • The Regional Onsite Support Team is looking for a Systems Administrator to deliver and maintain client computing devices, ie. laptop, mobile, meeting room equipment. Our team support the UKI & META employees and IT operations as part of a wider EMEA team. We are the face of IT for SAS from employee onboarding, lifecycle upgrades, event support, through to employee off-boarding.

    As a Systems Administrator – EMEA Onsite Support, you will: 

    • Perform daily system monitoring & operations, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes
    • Troubleshoot hardware, software, or performance problems on the systems network; may repair hardware
    • Serve as contact for user-reported problems and compile reports on system performance and/or usage
    • Verify, track, and resolve user and/or system problems
    • Assist with documentation projects, new product evaluation and support for special projects as needed
    • Responsible for IT Procurement including supplier management, following Finance policy and process 
    • Responsible for the upkeep of our internal asset management system, including disposal of hardware following company policy and procedure
    • On/Off boarding tasks

    Required Qualifications

    • 5 years of experience with a networked interactive environment in user support, customer support, or training required.  Experience with one or more client/server operating systems required.
    • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, preferably in Computer Science or a related discipline
    • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
    • Logical thinking with strong problem-solving skills
    • Good understanding of Office 365 products, ServiceNow and Azure
    • Attention to detail and process driven
    • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
