    (Talent Pool) Planner

    Who are you?

    Are you a Planner with a minimum of 5 - 10 years post-graduate experience working on large-scale, mission critical construction projects? Have experience working across commercial, real estate, retail development, oil and gas, energy, and mining experience.

    Job Description

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Develops and maintains program schedules identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects of various types
    • Monitors and actively participates in project and program scheduling issues while administering best practices and standards
    • Obtains accurate and timely program schedule updates from project teams and performs QA/QC on information received
    • Creates and develops conceptual what-if schedules for multiple project types including large complex multi-year projects
    • Performs Critical Path analyses and Earned Value analyses
    • Prepares ad-hoc reports and analyses as directed by management
    • To produce schedules for complex projects or linked projects forming programmes
    • To help us prepare tenders to secure new work

    • To provide intelligence-based schedules for construction projects, using experience and site knowledge
    • To analyse contractors’ schedules to identify excessive activity durations with a view to accelerating delivery
    • NEC contracts and the contractual requirement to accept or reject contractor programmes
    • Compiling the information for change management to reject or approve PCN's
    • Developing the schedule breakdown structure in assisting the project team to develop the wbs
    • Aligning with the cost team to ensure schedule and cost alignment
    • Integration of schedules into a master schedule
    • Managing contractors schedules

    Qualifications

    • Currently a Planner/Senior Planner with consultancy, contractor and/or client-side experience minimum of 8 - 10 years
    • Must use Primavera (P6) and NSP
    • Experience working on projects ranging must be new build/fit-out related across mining and oil and gas
    • Professionally/Degree qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management and engineering
