Team Leader - PV Yield & Performance at RINA

• The Team Leader - PV Yield and Performance – will oversee a wide range of RINA’s services in relation to solar energy site prospecting, layout optimisation, resource assessment, yield prediction, operational yield assessment and asset performance. The role requires focus on photovoltaic solar generation technologies as well as performance modelling in relation to energy storage systems.
• The role will be focused on growing our existing team and capabilities in the sector, while consolidating and improving processes and delivering high levels of growth.

Main Tasks

• Act as PM and oversee the delivery of performance team projects also supporting the wider global program
• Oversee the development and co-ordination of the PV Yield and Performance team
• Contribute to business management and play an active role in the development of our renewable energy business and teams
• Advise on performance related to technical tools and processes
• Improve documentation and processes to ensure high-quality project outputs
• Co-operate with a wider group to ensure quality of standards worldwide
• Develop in-house tools for delivering and managing work effectively
• Build healthy and productive relationships with clients and identify business growth opportunities
• Oversee development of high-quality proposals
• Collaborate widely with colleagues in other regions, including sector specialists, country managers, and technical colleagues

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in a relevant discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Substantial knowledge and experience of photovoltaic solar
• Experience in the development and/or design of utility scale renewable energy projects
• Expert knowledge in relation to industry standard software tools relevant to the discipline
• Project Management training and/or certification will be considered as a plus
• Consulting experience or demonstrated aptitude for managing clients or service delivery will be considered as a plus
