    Technical Services Officer – Macadamias – Kzn

    Job Summary 

    • Horticulture / Agronomist experience in Macadamia or other tree crops.
    • Provide farmers with technical advice.

    Grower/farm visits:

    • Making fertilizer recommendations
    • Scouting / assisting growers with IPM
    • Pruning recommendations
    • Crop Estimates
    • Harvesting advice
    • Assist growers in implementing Global Gap
    • Communication with Growers / face of the company in managing the relationship with growers
    • Arrange and present study groups
    • Arrange and attend Grower days

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Degree in Agronomy/Horticulture or similar
    • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
