Key performance areas:

• Creating solution architectures and designs that are aligned with business blueprints, non-functional requirements, delivery constraints, data, application and technology standards, and architecture standards aligned to greater TFG Infotec Enterprise Architecture strategy
• Ensure solution architecture quality and serve as the primary point of contact for solution design between the project team and the SDLC process
• Define solution design standards and execute requirements for SDLC governance
• Innovation and development
• Analysis and investigations
• Build and design secure innovative solutions – writing code, testing and producing code for both new and legacy systems, across a mixture of client and internal technical projects in order to support the wider business with their everyday functions
• Produce software technical documentation and oversee quality of that produced by others on the team
• Validate/QA technical solutions before handing over to QA/client
• Share knowledge of tools and techniques with colleagues, including non-technical team members

You will have:

• A relevant tertiary qualification
• A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience
• Solid experience in architecture and solution design (UML, OO, SOA, etc.)
• Solid experience in software development frameworks and methodologies (RUP, Agile, Scrum, TOGAF, etc.)
• Solid track record in successful delivery in the solution architecture discipline
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and logical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
