    Job Requirements

    Role Requirements

    • To succeed in this role, you need to hold a National Diploma in Medical Technology (Cytology Pathology) or a Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences (BHSc MLS). Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Technologist in Cytology Pathology is essential. These qualifications are the foundation that enables you to deliver with confidence and uphold the highest standards in laboratory practice. Whether you are starting your career or bringing a few years of experience, this role offers space to grow. We welcome candidates with 0–5 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in a pathology laboratory. What matters most is your commitment to learning, your curiosity to explore new techniques, and your drive to contribute to a high-performance culture.

    Skills Requirements

    • This role requires a well-rounded skill set. You must be able to communicate fluently in English and Afrikaans, perform basic numerical calculations with accuracy, and use computer systems effectively to support laboratory operations. Your ability to work collaboratively, adapt to evolving needs, and contribute to a learning-focused environment will be key to your success.
