    Tele Sales Assistant

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    • The Tele Sales Assistant is to identify the sales gaps and prospecting sales opportunities by cold calling and touching base with previous customers

    RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Cold Calling

    • Initiate outbound calls to potential clients and customers to introduce our products/services, generate new business, and drive sales.

    Customer Engagement

    • Reconnect with previous customers to identify sales gaps, offer new solutions, and explore opportunities for repeat business.

    Lead Generation

    • Research and identify potential leads in various markets to help expand our customer base.

    Sales Prospecting

    • Qualify prospects and establish a pipeline for future sales, while building and maintaining positive customer relationships.

    Reporting

    • Keep accurate records of outreach efforts, sales activities, and customer interactions.

    Collaboration

    • Work closely with the sales team to ensure targets and goals are achieved and contribute to the overall success of the department.

    PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE
    Essential Qualification

    • Grade 12

    Experience and Competencies

    • 1 to 2 years’ working experience within a sales environment preferable
    • MS Office (email, word, excel)

    KEY COMPETENCIES / PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

    • Strong phone presence with a positive and professional attitude
    • Ability to identity opportunities and build rapport with customers
    • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and prospecting
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
