Temporary Credit Controller - Advanced Excel (Monthly Contract) Edenvale

• We're seeking a Temp: Credit Controller – Advanced Excel (Monthly Contract) Edenvale, to take full ownership and accountability for a list of customers awarded to you by your Supervisor.

  Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow up on all unpaid invoices as well as short payments.
• Ensure that accounts that haven’t been paid are put on hold by the 7th every month.
• Ensure that final demand letters are sent to the customers that are overdue by the 15th of every month. This needs to be discussed and agreed to by the Supervisor before sending it to the customers.
• Prepare recons by customers/clients monthly and submit by the agreed due date to Supervisor.
• Client reports with comments to be completed in line with the monthly planning.
• Ensure the correct allocation of payments by obtaining remittances and reconciling prior to allocating payments.
• Request copies of claims and investigate.
• As part of achieving the goals provided by your management team, you will be responsible for performing the following task
• Follow up on emailed or telephonic feedback/requests from customers and clients.
• Follow up on the unallocated banking cash daily.
• COD account reconciliations.
• Ensure monitoring of customer credit limits to ensure that they do not exceed their credit limits.
• Ensure that all credits are matched to the correct invoices.
• All payments to be reconciled and allocated before the month-end close.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Matric
• Must have Advanced excel
• Credit Control experience 3- 5 years
• Accounts receivable – Credit Controller experience
• Good communication skills

Package & Remuneration

• Between R20 000 and R25000 depending on experience
• Month to Month Contract
