Toy Librarian at Afrika Tikkun

Responsibilities

• Toy/Resource Management: Maintain a well-organized and accessible toy library environment.
• Ensure that all toys are clean, safe, and age-appropriate.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel encouraged to explore and learn through play. 
• Collaborate effectively with ECD teachers/assistants and other staff members to integrate toy library resources into the centres’ programming.
• Small Group Interventions with Red Flagged Children:
• Monitor and track progress of red-flagged children, adjusting interventions as necessary to support their development.
• Collaborate with ECD teachers/assistants and other professionals to develop and implement targeted intervention strategies.
• Parental Intervention Workshops:
• Provide practical strategies and resources for parents to implement at home to enhance their child's development.
• Foster a supportive and collaborative relationship with parents, empowering them to be active partners in their child's learning journey.
• Bambanani Learning App Planning, Implementation and Execution:
• Plan and coordinate the integration of the Bamba Learn App into the center's curriculum and learning activities.
• Train ECD practitioners and staff on how to effectively use the Bamba Learn App to support children's learning and development.
• Monitor usage and effectiveness of the Bamba Learn App, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.
