Track Dozer Operator at Tharisa

Role context

• Reports to the Load & Haul Foreman
• Ensure that the shift production is achieved 
• Any damages are reported and attend to urgently
• Reach daily production targets 
• Executive daily approved plan
• Use survey notes or instruction for any planned construction work
• Doze according to the planned line-up
• Fill in a checklist and report any fault to engineering
• Assist load & haul supervisors to execute their work safely and cost-effectively
• Create and maintain good and healthy relationship with other employees and all managers

Knowledge of:

• Create a safety culture
• Compliance to MHSA
• Achieve annual budget for mining
• Key performance areas.

Experience of:

• Working shifts and on all holidays
• Mining experience in open cast mining
• Experience working as Track Dozer operator

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Grade 12/ NQF Level 4
• Should have excellent communication in English both verbally and written.
• Must pass both medical and dover tests

Job specific experience:

• Code 10 driver license
• Must be able to work shifts and also on all holidays
• 1-year mining experience in open cast mining will be an advantage
