Job Advert Summary    

• Experienced Tracking Operator with expertise in monitoring and managing fleet movements using MiX Telematics and TRAMM. Skilled in real-time vehicle tracking, driver monitoring, route compliance, incident management, and delivery coordination.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with drivers and stakeholders, resolve transport issues promptly, and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining accurate operational records and reports

Minimum Requirements    

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / Matric / NQF Level 4
• Experience in Transport and Logistic industry essentail
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Monitored and track vehicle movements using Mix Telematics and TRAMM Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensured real-time visibility of deliveries and driver activities.
• Monitored driver behaviour, route adherence, speed violations, and unauthorized stops.
• Ensure that all faulty tracking units are reported and fixed
• Ensure that 100% up-time on tracking units are achieved and maintained during the month.
• Monitor Tracking Systems and manage exceptions and irregularities.
• Assist in Accidents/incidents reporting and investigations thereof.
• Ensure that all alarms generated by the tracking units are attended to timeously and corrective action taken.
• Ensuring all reports required by Operations and other divisions within the company is done correctly and timeously
• Take relevant action in the event of incidents such as accidents or hijackings
• Ensuring correct information is presented to management, 100% up-time of tracking units is managed as per company policy as well as reporting thereof.
• Receive calls from third parties like Mix Track and React and Drivecam
• Escalate risk to appropriate channels
• Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time-to time by management.
