Description

• To support the engineering team by carrying out minor preventative maintenance, assisting artisans with repairs, and ensuring equipment and work areas are clean, safe, and ready for production.

Requirements

• Gather tools, components and material required to perform minor preventative maintenance and resolve minor breakdowns
• Gather tools, components and material required to support the resolution of major breakdowns and implementation of major preventative maintenance
• Perform routine strip-down and/or assembly of plant and equipment, according to SOP’s
• Maintain workshop, equipment, tools and work areas by cleaning and sanitizing according to SOP’s and prepare required tools and materials before commencing maintenance activities
• Assist with troubleshooting, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure the completion and signing-off of all appropriate checks, logbooks and related documentation
• Record equipment downtime and maintenance activities and maintain organised maintenance records for compliance and reporting purposes
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to achieve work objectives, maintain relationships and to assist and convey information

Qualification:

• Grade 12/Matric 

Experience: 

• 1 - 3 Years’ technical/maintenance support experience 
• Broad working knowledge of conc
