Trade Sales Rep: Informal Sector (Coastal Regions) at Boxer Superstores

Job Advert Summary    

• Are you a dynamic and ambitious sales rep with a proven track record and an in-depth knowledge of township trading (Spaza Shops, Cash & Carry and Wholesale)? Boxer Superstores is seeking a Sales Representative with at least 3 years of informal trade door-to-door sales experience in supplying groceries to Spaza Shops and local vendors to join our growing team. You will be canvassing and selling baskets of groceries to all townships across KZN. Minimum Requirements    

• Proven track record and a minimum of 3 years' sales experience in Cash & Carry, Wholesale, and informal trading is non-negotiable.
• Background in door-to-door sales with a track record of success
• Intermediate level proficiency in IT software for order management and reporting
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with rural market dynamics.
• Minimum Matric qualification.
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel extensively across all townships in the coastal regions

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Utilise your excellent communication skills to effectively cold-call and build relationships with potential clients.
• Leverage your door-to-door sales experience to promote and sell our high-quality grocery staples baskets.
• Implement and manage call cycles to maximise sales opportunities and build long-term customer relationships.
• Proven sales experience in Cash & Carry, Wholesale, multi-national informal independent retailers and spaza shops.
