    Transformation Analyst

    Purpose of the Role

    The Transformation Analyst must assist the Company’s clients in achieving their desired BEE levels through advisory services, in the most efficient, cost-effective way, but also assist in getting transformation right. This position revolves around developing and implementing BEE plans, staying abreast of all legislation and updates, and training Clients, from a compliance and transformative point of view, while ensuring the Client is ready for their BEE verification and on track to meet their required BEE level as per the BEE Plan.

    Responsibilities & Tasks

    Key accountabilities and responsibilities for Transformation Advisory:

    • Examine and evaluate current client data to determine their BEE status, review company policies and compliance with B-BBEE Acts and /or charters in South Africa.
    • Liaise with client staff to ensure all required information for accreditation is accessible.
    • Manage the preparation and audit processes for verification by the appointed rating agency
    • Implementation and monitoring of BEE Programmes and Initiatives.
    • Support NPI clients in forecasting and planning their requirements in line with agreed Transformation targets by way of reporting and monitoring controls including personal interaction
    • Identify new opportunities where Transformation can add value to the client and propose an innovative value-adding solution.
    • Maintain a sound knowledge of progressive Transformation practices and key trends.
    • Manage specific projects as determined by NPI clients.
    • Recommend to NPI client’s new approaches, solutions, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of Transformation administrative and
    • reporting processes
    • Create and maintain immaculate detailed client records and information.
    • Manage the Employee exit process.
    • Maintain Employee files and any relative administrative duties.
    • Compile, implement and update relevant Job Descriptions within the Company.
    • In conjunction with the Head of Corporate Services, continually review, monitor, and manage Company benefits structures.
    • Support the Group Head of Corporate Services in job evaluation, and salary benchmarking process for new positions or substantially changed roles including the provision of advice and guidance on the reward and recognition strategy for that business unit.
    • Coach, training, and support line manager in implementing employee handbook and performance management/appraisal system.
    • Relevant industrial relations when required.
    • To maintain confidentiality over personal information relating to NPI Governance Consulting staff and volunteers.
    • Any other duties as allocated by the Group Head of Corporate Services, including, but not limited to functional responsibilities and special projects.

    Key accountabilities and responsibilities for Contract Management:

    • Identify and manage project dependencies, risks and issues and create a mitigating strategy to prevent negative project status
    • Preparing realistic and attainable milestones and implement them within agreed timelines and budget
    • Create a positive engaged successful working relationship by providing quality client services pertaining to projects and
    • Prepare and submit a detailed status report for each client

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    Minimum entry level;

    • Relevant tertiary qualification.
    • MDP

    Preference / Desirable;

    •  Continuous development within the Transformation field.

    Knowledge & Experience

    Minimum entry level;

    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience within the Transformation field.
    • Sound knowledge of the BEE Codes of Good Practice, the B-BBEE Act and other related legislation.
    • Good communication skills and MS Office.
    • Strong MS Office skills.
    • Own transport essential.

    Preference / Desirable;

    • Previous experience with client advisory.
