Transmission Network Architect at ASIE Personnel

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in a technical field
• 6 year’s technical experience in telecom industry with at least 3 years in a network engineering, network design role
• Knowledge of technology including Ducting, Fibre, DWDM (10/40/100G), OTN, SDH, Data (LCAS, Ethernet, MPLS TP)
• Knowledge in supporting TX equipment i.e. Alcatel, Ciena, Infinera, Xtera, Tejas Networks etc.
• Experience in network management platforms
• Strong analytical skills and able to collate and interpret data from various sources

Responsibilities

• 24/7 4th Level TX and fibre technical interface, escalation / on-call
• TX and fibre network architecture , technology and vendor selection
• TX and fibre network inventory management & planning, including auditing and record management
• TX and fibre network procurement / equipment contract management, including budgeting, PO management
• Manage, develop Craft Terminal, EMS, NMS and OSS systems, coach and train others
