Transport Supervisor - Pinelands at Western Cape Blood Service

Scope of duties:

• The day to day planning and co-ordination of the service transport requirements according to work instructions.
• Completion of all private/provincial hospitals request.
• To initiate disciplinary procedures.
• To respond to security, fire and refrigeration alarms.
• Efficient staff rostering, staff transport request daily and day-to-day utilization of fleet vehicles.
• Briefing and debriefing of all drivers daily.
• Operating the Webfleet vehicle monitoring system.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• A Matric certificate.
• A code 8 driver’s license without endorsements.
• Computer literate: Excel, Windows and Email etiquette.
• Minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
• Supervisor certificate would be advantageous.
