Trend Forecaster at Mr Price Group

Role Summary:

Mr Price Apparel division is looking for a talented Trend Forecaster to join our dynamic Trend department. You will be responsible for identifying key commercial mass market trends relevant for our target market, understanding what is happening in fashion, lifestyle and design. 

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Trend presentations (research & compilation of documentation)
• Produce monthly fashion fixes from relevant international retailers
• Provide retail team with additional research requirements they may need during a season
• Monthly local competitor reports
• Ensure on trend assortments in collaboration with the buyers
• Compilation of seasonal briefs for product development team (fabric, colour, print, silhouette direction etc)

Requirements:

• A Degree / Diploma in Fashion design is a must
• Possess a strong portfolio
• 3 - 4 years’ experience
• Have a passion for fashion
• Be a strong team player
• Have the ability to multitask
• Hard working
