Truck Mechanic - Bramley at Impact

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanic Truck Driver to join our team in Bramley.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations, while also maintaining the company's fleet of vehicles.
• The Mechanic Truck Driver will need to possess strong mechanical skills and be able to troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise with the vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and operate company trucks in a safe and efficient manner
• Transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Perform routine maintenance on company vehicles
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with vehicles
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor conditions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in automotive repair or maintenance
• Experience working with diesel engines
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
