Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12.
• Code EC driver's license with a valid PrDP.
• 3 years of experience driving an ultra-heavy vehicle.
• 3 years of experience driving an interlink/auger bulk tanker.
• Prepared to work weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of defensive driving techniques.
• Experience in reporting emergencies and defects.
• Proficiency in vehicle inspections and operating a fire extinguisher.
• Ability to maximize vehicle cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Skills in vehicle loading and offloading techniques.
• Own reliable transport to and from work.
• Clean criminal record.
• Medically fit.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare the vehicle for trips and operate ultra-heavy-duty vehicles.
• Load, transport, and offload vehicles.
• Handle required documentation and perform ancillary duties.
• Follow all reasonable instructions from the Supervisor.
• Be prepared to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Maintain a safe driving record and clean criminal record.
• Ensure housekeeping of vehicles, uniform, and PPE.
• Adhere to SOPs and safety procedures.
• Successfully undergo and complete the following:
  • Medical evaluation
  • USCS training modules
  • Induction processes
  • Practical driving evaluation
  • Verification of clean criminal record
