Warehouse Assistant at Kontak Recruitment

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation purposes.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform tasks that involve repetitive motions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unload incoming deliveries, check for accuracy against purchase orders, and properly
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and reporting any discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are packed securely and accurately labelled.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe by adhering to all safety protocols and performing routine housekeeping tasks.
• Complete necessary paperwork for shipments, deliveries, and inventory management, ensuring that all records are accurate and up to date.
• Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
