Warehouse Manager at Interdot

Minimum Requirements:  

• Matric or Grade 12
• Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
• 3 years’ management experience in retail warehouse and logistics
• 5 years’ experience in the retail industry and distribution

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To have a strategy for achieving continuous improvement and maintain good productivity.
• To ensure efficient smooth operating and control of the warehouse and distribution.
• Managing the distribution of stock to all retail outlets and deploy truck drives.
• To eliminate stock deterioration which has hidden costs.
• Managing the process of all goods returned from stores.
• Planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods.
• Keeping stock control systems up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Motivating, Organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
• Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock such as chemicals and food are stored safely
• Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment
