Waster Water Tehnician/Technologist – Cape Town (REF CT0092) at JG AFRIKA

JG Afrika is looking for an experienced wastewater and water technician / technologist to undertake designs and contract administration for projects in our Cape Town office.

Qualifications

• N.Dip (Civ Eng) or B.Tech (Civ Eng)
• Pr Tech / Pr Techni ECSA registration is required
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in wastewater and water treatment engineering
• Proficient in Civils 3D, Revit and AutoCAD
• Sound knowledge of GCC and FIDIC general conditions of contract

Experience

• Civil, hydraulic and layout design of wastewater and water treatment infrastructure
• Civil and hydraulic design of sewer and water pump stations
• Gravity and pressure pipe design
• Contract administration (GCC and FIDIC)
• SANS 1200 bills of quantities

• Must be technically strong.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Good time and quality management as well as the ability to work under pressure is required.
• A valid driver’s license is essential.
• Must have traceable and contactable references.
