    Wholesale Manager

    RB has an exciting opportunity for a Wholesale Manager in Zambia reporting to the Country Manager (Zambia)

    Your main responsibilities as a Wholesale Manager will be to support the function with implementing sales strategies for the Wholesale Channel with additional coverage of expansion projects in Zambia. Able to deliver on objectives related to respective channels.


    • The Wholesale Manager's responsibility is to implement the sales strategy for the Wholesale Channel in addition to the coverage expansion projects in Zambia
    • Meet the strategic objectives of IMS, Effective coverage, Must Stock List along with P&L KPIs of Trade Spends, Gross Margin must be delivered for the above said channels.
    • Managing big Wholesale customers in terms of monthly KPIs of IMS, Effective coverage, Must Stock List
    • Deliver Best in Class Wholesale Loyalty program with strong sell out component
    • Ensure agreed in store execution of activations and POSMs to drive Best in Class stock visibility in store.
    • Optimising Trade Spends to maintain trade pipelining without distorting price in market
    • Sharp focus on sell out activities to reduce trade spend dependence for the channel
    • Ensure increased coverage expansion in Sub DB markets outside Lusaka meeting business KPIs


    • Bachelor's Degree is required
    • Language proficiency of Hindi/Urdu and English is required
    • Previous FMCG experience preferably more than 2 years
    • Zambia experience of more than 2 years
    • Zambia Wholesale experience of at least 1 year
    • Good financial understanding of the P&L
    • Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment to maintain business KPI delivery
    • Agile in taking decisions and executing on ground
    • Determined, positive and confident style, based on proven commercial success


    • he business language in RB is English, therefore fluency in English is essential. Language proficiency of Hindi/Urdu is also required.
    • Effective multi-tasking skills
    • Very strong communicator (verbal & written) to ensure stakeholders are aligned
    • Good organisation and time management skills
    • Able to work in a team environment
    • Empathetic manner
    • Likeness towards statistics and working with numbers
