The Technician is responsible for carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance of wind turbines in a safe manner, whilst adhering to accepted quality and performance standards.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Execution of planned and unplanned maintenance of turbines on site according to SGRE manuals, quality and safety standards and customer safety rules.
Capturing of data associated with maintenance activities to ensure proper functioning of the maintenance management system, i.e. registration of hours, works order management, etc.
Reporting of faults and defects on the turbine to the relevant SGRE Department.
Participate in on-call arrangements in line with the SGRE Standby Procedure.
Participate in all relevant technical and safety training from SGRE.

What You Bring
Proven experience as a Wind Technician or in a similar engineering role.
Strong technical knowledge of wind turbine systems and components.
Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Certification in wind turbine maintenance and safety is preferred.
