Workshop Technician at Eazi Access

 Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site Workshop Technician role located in Port Elizabeth. The Workshop Technician will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a diverse fleet of equipment, including Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, Mini Cranes, forklifts and Telehandlers. Daily tasks will include equipment inspections, repairs, and ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in servicing and maintaining equipment
• Experience with Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, and Telehandlers
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong communication skills
• Health and safety certifications are a plus 
• Grade 12/N3 
• Trade qualification as Millwright/ Auto Electrician or Red Seal Qualified as a Technician 

Experience: 

• 3 years’ experience Post Qualification - Maintenance and repairs on MEWP or Material 

Handling Equipment. 

• 2 years’ experience in technical field services, maintenance, and repairs 

Knowledge Requirements: 

• Knowledge of work of height machinery and equipment advantageous. 
• Industry specific knowledge i.e., mining, construction, light & heavy industrial. 
• OSHAS and safety industry regulations. 
• Mechanical, hydraulic, electric, and electronic tooling knowledge. 
• Knowledge of mechanical inspections, tools, and analyzers.
