• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit.
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets. 
• Redeem stamps and coupons.

• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas. 
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
• Bag, box or gift-wrap packages.
• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges.
• Assist when and where needed.
• Do cash ups and daily cash up reports

Requirements

• Grade 12/Matric.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a cashier in the back office

Description

• ACDC Dynamics a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry.
• We are looking to hire an energetic picker and packer to assist us in our Retails store Bloemfontein. The picker and packer will utilize requisitions and order sheets to pick a wide variety of items, place and arrange items in bins following specific instructions.
• The picker will check stock received for damage, and confirm correct items and quantities are selected. You will perform duties in accordance with standard operating instructions and ensure inbound and outbound orders are correct and defect-free.
• To ensure success in this position you will need to perform to a high level of accuracy. Top candidates will be upstanding, organized and able to perform under pressure.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
• 1+ years work experience in a similar role.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work harmoniously with diverse range of people.
• Proficient with using tools required for this position.
• Physically agile and dexterous.
• Proficient organizational skills.
