• The Amazon University Talent Acquisition Team is looking for ambitious students to join us as a Marketing Intern, working in one of our core businesses, including Retail, Amazon Vendor Services, Merchant Services, Prime Video, Prime Now, Amazon Fresh, and Amazon Advertising.

Key job responsibilities

• The ideal candidate will be innovative, team oriented, an effective communicator, have a desire to participate in change, and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• We are seeking someone with demonstrated history of successful demand generation across media channels and using customer data to identify and prioritize opportunities.

A day in the life

• As an intern, you will be matched to a mentor.
• In addition to learning about an impactful project, you will have the opportunity to engage with Amazonians for both personal and professional development, expand your network, and participate in activities with other interns throughout your internship.
• No matter the location of your internship, we give you the tools to own your project and learn in a real-world setting.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with a graduation date of 2026 or a recent graduate (within the last 6 months)
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English
• Available to complete a full time 12 month internship full time (40h/week).

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or graduated from a higher education qualification in Tech field (Minimum NQF level 4-6 qualification) -Qualification must be from an accredited institution of higher education.
• Basic knowledge of at least one functional scripting language (e.g., Perl, Python, Ruby, shell scripting).
• Basic knowledge of Networking and Databases.
• Basic knowledge of Operation Systems Windows and/or Linux.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of internet fundamentals and cloud computing concepts.
• Familiarity with Database, Storage, & Big Data concepts.
• Knowledge of Networking fundamentals like CIDR notations, OSI model, DNS, HTTP, TCP/UDP, DHCP, routing, switching, subnets, NAT.
• Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Customer facing work experience.
